I enjoyed the article and this clip. In seventh grade, I pointed out to our football coach that girls are bigger than we are right now and we ought to recruit them. The look of absolute impossibility made me wonder if something was wrong with me.
My critical note: I wish we could say good job to kids without mentioning "going pro". Every year, I deal with one or two students who were their high school's best ever player and are now recuperating from the shock of realizing that they aren't going to be millionaires.
